Dentsu engaged Vibe to develop a 3D animation for Rias, supporting a “Future of Driving” campaign. The campaign centred around revolutionary patents that could reshape how we perceive transportation. The animation was tasked with bringing these concepts to life, demonstrating a vehicle’s transformation from land to air and sea, embodying the campaign’s forward-thinking vision.
The animation needed to be clear and creatively interpreted, resonating with audiences on tech-focused platforms, and aligning with the broader narrative of the campaign.

From Blueprint to Reality
Strategy
The goal was to create an animation that depicted a seamless transition between different groundbreaking patents, such as a car transforming into a flying aerocar and then into an amphibious vehicle. Vibe adopted a blueprint-inspired visual style, utilising white lines on blue-tinted backgrounds to reinforce the technical and innovative essence of the patents. This approach ensured the animation was both engaging and creatively interpreted, appealing to the tech-savvy target audience.
A Consistent Campaign Journey
Solution
Using Blender 3D, Vibe developed the vehicle model, illustrating each transformation with care. The animation featured key patent concepts such as facial recognition door unlocking, retractable wheels for amphibious capabilities, and deployable wings for flight. Each stage of the vehicle’s transformation was animated to reflect the innovation and potential of these technologies.
The blueprint lines were rendered within Blender and enhanced with post-production effects, maintaining consistency with the campaign’s visual identity. This method ensured that the animation was not just a strong visual element but also an integral part of the campaign’s narrative.
Seamless Campaign Integration
The final animation was seamlessly integrated into the campaign’s landing page, which provided context for each patent and explored the future of automotive technology. The animation acted as a central visual element, guiding users through the campaign narrative and enhancing their understanding of the innovative concepts presented. By aligning with the landing page’s tone and content, the animation reinforced the campaign’s message and provided an engaging, memorable user experience.
